When I first started doing projects, I would be in the middle of something and have to stop and ask my husband for help. Can you hang this for me? Can you put this together for me? How do I do this? I got tired of being dependent on him and scared of the tools. If he can use them - why can't I?
So instead of just letting him do it for me, I started having him teach me to do things. And, I started reading books and teaching myself. Now I have all my own tools - he has his and I have mine. I do catch him using mine from time to time. I was very careful in picking each tool to make sure that it was going to meet my needs.
The Chicks and Power Tools Series was created for women like me. Those who love doing DIY projects, but are put off by tools and power tools. This class will educate and empower women to be confident when using power tools. The introductory class is an education class about the six power tools that every chick should have in their tool box. Why you need it? What you do with it? How you pick it out? Once you have completed this class, the series will consist of a variety of classes where you will get hands on experience in a safe and supervised environment using the tools. Plus, you'll create great projects that you get to take home with you.
Sign up for the Chicks and Power Tools Series and become empowered. Never ask for help when hanging a picture again. Complete those DIY projects with confidence.
